Capture the essence of 'Fountainbridge comes alive'

 

To celebrate this exciting new chapter in the story of Fountainbridge, we are offering keen photographers a great opportunity to capture the essence of ‘Fountainbridge Comes Alive’ - and win £500.

Our panel of judges, which includes some of Scotland’s top professional photographers, are looking for an image that best sums up the new Fountainbridge.  The photograph should express the area's rich industrial past combined with its exciting and vibrant future, with The Foundry at Springside at the very heart of it. 

 

How to enter 

This competition has now closed.
Judging will take place over the next two weeks. The winner will be notified by email. The winning entry, plus a shortlist of other top entries, will be displayed on this site.

 

 

Terms and conditions

The competition is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over. There is one £500 cash prize for the winner. The winner will be selected by a panel of independent professional photographers. Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Closing date for entries is Wednesday 31st August 2011. Entries received after this date will not be eligible. We do not accept responsibility for network, computer, hardware or software failures, which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your entry. Winner will be notified via email by 21st September 2011. If any winner is not able, for any reason, to accept a prize, or cannot be contacted within 28 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.  Details of winners name will be available by sending a SAE to the Promoter at the address below. Employees, family members of Fountain North Ltd, or companies associated with the competition may not enter the competition. The entries will be used in post competition publicity and the promoter retains the right to use all photographs entered in future activity. Photographs are taken at entrants own risk.
