One third reserved at Springside launch

Overnight success
First in line for homes in Edinburgh’s new city centre neighbourhood were a group of hardy Edinburgh University students. They camped out overnight on the doorstep of Savills, braving sub-zero temperatures to reserve apartments.

The students were joined by a mix of other people, attracted to the range of homes offered at Springside, its proximity to the city centre and prices that started at £149,000. By the end of the day a total of 20 homes had been reserved, amounting to £4 million in sales and a bright start for Springside.
Dr Ali Afshar, director of AMA said: “The interest is a strong vote of confidence in our vision to create a distinct community with hundreds of new homes, stunning offices, shops and other local facilities.”
