Plane

Edinburgh International Airport serves over 80 destinations around the world and is 7 miles from Springside.

Train

Haymarket mainline railway station serves Glasgow, Fife and the Scottish Highlands and is a ten minute walk away. Waverley mainline station is a mile to the east of Haymarket with trains connecting to England in the south and Europe via the Eurotunnel.

Bus

Routes 1, 34 and 35 run along Fountainbridge and go across the city. Routes 22 and 30 run along the West Approach Road. Other buses can be accessed at the Haymarket transport hub.

Bicycle

New cycle paths will link up with the city’s extensive network of cycle lanes, including the national cycle route number 75, which passes nearby along the Union Canal.

Foot

Edinburgh is a compact city and with the centre being so close walking will be an easy and convenient way for many people to get around.

Car

From the West Approach Road or Fountainbridge it is a short drive south-west to the city ring road (A720) and connections to the national motorway network.
